October 26, 2025 - Sardinia Wines
On Sunday, October 26th, the North Wake (NC) Chapter of the AWS held a meeting and tasting at Heritage View Clubhouse in Wake Forest with 42 members and guests attending.
On Sunday, October 26th, 42 AWS members and guests experienced a variety of seven PALA wines from Sardinia, Italy. Mackenzie Chastain, representing Banville Wine Merchants, regaled us with entertaining and informative stories about the island (the 10th largest in the world), the winery (founded in 1950), and the wines. We tasted several varietals, including Nuragus, Monica, Bovale, two Vermentinos, and two Cannonaus.
