March 22, 2026 - "Easter in Paris" - Queen of Wines - Laure Levesque
On Sunday, March 22nd, the North Wake (NC) Chapter held a meeting and tasting at Heritage View Clubhouse in Wake Forest with 53 members and guests attending.
On March 22nd, 53 North Wake AWS members and guests experienced the expertise of the “Queen of Wines,” French native, Laure Levesque, as she shared a wide variety of interesting French wines representing six different regions in France.
Many of our tasters purchased the first white wine from Savoie. Scores showed the final two red wines (the Pinot from Sancerre and the Syrah from Rhone) were the highest rated of the event, nearly tied at 16.63 for the former and 16.56 for the latter.
