April 27, 2025 - Wine Spectator Value Wines

On April 27, 2025, Chapter treasurer Randy Screen presented six wines from Wine Spectator’s Top 100 wines. We sampled two whites and four reds from around the world: one from Chile, two from Argentina one from California, and two from Italy. Included were three wines priced at $21 or less.. Randy provided a handout with information about each of the wines and wineries. All six were rated excellent with a Malbec from Kaiken Estate of Argentina scoring the highest at 17.3…a bargain at $18. Our chapter holds a Wine Spectator Top 100 event every year and it is always popular with members.
